Policy of giving awards to the officers is good, especially when today is rather rare to give the Award Trophy to someone, mostly to the officers. Much more to them who will or has left their office.
The many noted are, their ugliness and neglect. An officers need to accept criticism, so they are not to feel like a god, or too far away to make mistakes. In fact, for those who give criticism actually is a friend, rather than simply giving praise or no opinion at all.
However, people need an award, as mentioned by the expert, there are five kinds of basic human needs.
1. The physical needs, such as eating, drinking, clothing, shelter and any other of these needs.
2. Safety needs, ss obtaining safety, security and protection against things that are in the form of threats and survival.
3. The Social needs. To be liked and loved, hang out in groups, society, nation and state.
4. The esteem needs, as the honor, respect, praise, rewards and recognition.
5. The self-actualization needs, such as gain a pride, majesty, admiration and fame as a capable person, and succeeded in realizing the potential of their talent with a remarkable achievement.
The Award Trophy is typically given for those who have contributed to a particular field or something useful for society or anybody else. For organizations, the award was given to the manager or who have a relationship with the organization for their achievements.
Therefore, of course, not all people who work in the organization have the right one to earn the award. There should be a kind of criteria / measure in determining they have the right to obtain the Award Trophy.
